What’s New in 2018?

In 2018, I have a new job – same place, different title. I recently said ‘yes’ to joining dōTERRA and will now be a wellness advocate for them. I hate to consider New Year’s resolutions because I’m bad at making commitments – but that’s what I hope to change in 2018. I want to step outside my comfort zone and challenge myself. If I want to succeed, I have to stop being complacent and starting pushing for what I want.

If you’re new to the site and just joining me, my husband I live here in Cleveland, OH. We’re currently saving to purchase land in Maine, where we will build our own homestead. The trailer lamp in the photo above was gifted to us by my in-laws this past Christmas, and it represents our vision of living off the land while building our home – yes – in a tiny trailer.

2018 will finally be the year I graduate college, and the year I celebrate my second year of marriage. I plan to read more this year and put forth the effort to make healthier choices. I want to learn to forgive more and become a better listener and understand the value of the relationships around me. I want to become better at the ukulele, and maybe once and for all, start learning piano – MAYBE.

Challenging yourself isn’t easy, that’s why it’s called a challenge, but I need to be less inclined to give up on things, and start saying ‘yes’ to more things, and allow myself to feel pressured while striving to succeed. I can only hope for the best in health and wellness, for both mind and body. May you continue to count the blessings!
