Hello darlings! I’m Rachael, the creator behind Wildflower Hunny. I currently reside in the Buckeye State. I’m a born and bred Midwesterner. I’m a rubber city native that has been living in Cleveland since 2015. My husband and I live here with our brood of animals (dog + cat + bunny). We are currently saving to purchase land in Maine, after having visited there in the summer of 2017. We are advocates for a self-sustainable lifestyle and all things that centered around reuse, recycle, and minimalism.
I have a background in urban planning. After working for a few years in my field, and taking courses in urban sustainability, I noticed a gradual shift to focus more on saving the land, and a need to protect it. I began to realize the value of our planet as I became increasingly aware of the daily choices I was making, and how they were impacting our environment.
Here I share my tips and tricks for living a slow but rewarding lifestyle. When I’m not blogging, I enjoy farmers markets, thrift shopping, reading, music, and cinema. Living in Cleveland, I’ve learned to appreciate good brews, and I know a great brunch spot when I see one.
